My favorite places

Traid Seafood is located across from Everglades City school on the waterfront of the baron river, also known as home of the "all you can eat stone crabs"!. Triad doubles as a fresh seafood market offering crab, shrimp and many kinds of fish. Locals and tourists love this place year round!.

Speedys Airboat Tours is my Favorite Places pick for a  Airboat company in Everglades city. Their Airboat Tours are unique as they have their own private trails to use. Not only does speedys take you through their private preserve but they take you through both Ecosystems- the Grasslands and the Mangrove jungles. With it's bright yellow exterior Speedys airboat tours is visible as soon as you enter Everglades city on the right hand side located at 621 Begonia street.

Port Of The Islands Resort is located between Naples and Everglades City on Tamiami Trail East. Comfortable and cozy Port Of The Islands makes a great outpost and lands itself on my Favorite Places list. With many options around you for day time activities such as swamp buggy tours, kayaking, fishing, bird watching and airboat tours close by this is the perfect place to stay if you want an authentic everglades experience.
